Details/Expo preps: Been thinking about a way to c Details/Expo preps: Been thinking about a way to combine my signature/brand with a more secure magnetic mounting system for my wall sculptures. After quite some trial and errors in getting the right material combinations, I came up with this idea for a small mold to create a higher and more even edge around the seal. The stuff only comes in black which already looks awesome, but some pieces may require a different finish. Painting the seal afterwards wasn’t a real option as it would scratch easily and would lead to letters/sign/depth being covered. This way the gold powder is directly burned into the glue, which turns about to be a much stronger metallic finish. 👌🏻Really cool to customize every piece into its very own last detail. Now back to what’s probably more important, finishing the work itself, but I had lots of fun with this small project as a vital part of my procrastination strategy 😉
